Welcome to my Gallery. I am an interdisciplinary artist. My art crosses boundaries moving from abstract anthropomorphic forms in painting and drawings to installations and performance arts to documentary to poetry. My work responds to issues of human rights, police brutality, embodiment (breast cancer), health disparities, biomedicine, medical deportation, climate change and the immigration detention deportation apparatus. I have exhibited at national and international level. My research focuses on health disparities, memories of the body, art and healing, human rights, and gender. I earned my MFA in studio art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, a MA in Sociology from UCLA, and a BA in Political Science from the University of Puerto Rico.
